Autoresponders: Money is in the List

www.scripts4webmasters.comDid you know

  • Marketing guru Jay Levinson estimates “the average person needs to See an Ad 27x before it has the desired impact. Think about that … Twenty seven times!”
  • You can reduce your advertising risk, when you use an autoresponder follow-up system with an element of viral marketing.
  • It is the best way to advertise something that will “bring people in the door”. Freebies (like a mini-course, sweepstakes} or items at exceptionably low prices work well. Attract attention from those who want to listen to you.
  • You can, use autoresponders to send information about your services or products. Intelligent answers on FAQ’s about your products or services are met with open arms.
  • Money is in the list and the way to achieve that is to be friends with your Autoresponder.
  • Autoresponders protect your listmembers and you from abuse of private information.

Autoresponder(s) – These programs vary from software that runs with your email program to a specialized script that runs on your web hosting company’s server. This kind of script may use a web page form or simply operate with your email account. The script is programmed to send out a standardized message whenever an email is received. The message is automatically send to the email address provided by the subscriber.

There are autoresponders that can do even more than simply send out email messages. They can send out an unlimited number (as much as you need) of follow-up messages sent at predetermined day(s) or time. And maybe as a mini-series (In terms of aweber.com: broadcast)

Send a signature with your mail – You can use your signature to every email that you send out. In this way it works as a repeated reminder of your business identity every time a customer sees it. Remember the insight of Jay Levinson [above: 27x] . The more they look at your signature, the more likely your company will spring to mind when your particular service or product is needed.
As an extra advantage point, when the reciever forgot your url, the reciever can find it is right there .. easy for them to click on and access.

Effective and powerful — Autoresponders are an effective and powerful marketing tool. As they allow you to make contact with thousands of potential customers – because you have them in your List -, whenever you start a new campaigne. Remember the people in your List are an invaluable asset!
Consider this! How many potential customers you usually have contact with before you make an actual sale. The aim of the autoresponder should be … to find a balance between sending bulk messages without getting the label “spam”. This is because you only want email addresses from those who gave you permission to send you this mailing. And all that with the option to the reciever to stop being on the email list. That is ultimately the way to do it.

In essence – An autoresponder allows you to automate part of your marketing campaign and since “you can use your time only once” you find letting the autoresponder do its automated work you have time to do other important things in the meantime. Life can be fun you know!

St. John’s wort: Often referred to as Nature’s Prozac

St. John’s Wort and the Pelvic Region

St. John’s Wort is a plant with yellow flowers whose medicinal uses were first recorded in ancient Greece. The name St. John’s wort apparently refers to John the Baptist, as the plant blooms around the time of the feast of St. John the Baptist in late June.

Common Names — St. John’s wort, hypericum, Klamath weed, goat weed.
Latin Name — Hypericum perforatum.
Description — A plant or part of a plant used for its flavor, scent, or potential therapeutic properties. Includes flowers, leaves, bark, fruit, seeds, stems, and roots.

Hypericin — A pigment (hypericin) in the plant causes skin problems only when exposed to sunlight (photosensitization); others name this as “phototoxicity”.

Note: Skin that is protected from radiation by dense fur or dark melanin pigmentation is generally unaffected. Persons with fair skin avoid exposure to strong sunlight and other sources of ultraviolet light when taking St. John’s Wort because of some cases of photosensitivity that have been reported.

  • Hypericin is produced by St. John’s wort in special spherical glands. When a leaf is held up to sunlight, scores of these scattered glands appear like tiny translucent (yellowish) windows. Linnaeus recognized these as being like perforations (perforatum).
  • Hypericin inhibits monoamine oxidase (MAO) – a bodily chemical associated with depression.
  • It appears that hypericin does not act alone. Like many herbal medicines, St. John’s Wort relies on the complex interplay of many constituents for its antidepressant actions. Patients suffering from depression received relief, increased appetite, more interest in life, greater self-esteem and restoration of normal sleeping patterns.

St. John’s wort has been used

* for treatment of mental disorders and nerve pain.
* as a sedative and a treatment for malaria, as well as a balm for wounds, burns, and insect bites.
* by some for depression, anxiety, and/or sleep disorders.

In Europe, this plant character was treated by practitioners of the Doctrine of Signatures as a sign from God that the plant was to be used as a cure for punctures or cuts in the skin. Herbal medicine still recommends hypericin oil for cuts. When the yellow petal is crushed, the hypericin turns red, as if the plant is bleeding–another indication in folk medicine for using this plant to treat wounds.

How It Is Used

  • The flowering tops of St. John’s wort are used to prepare teas and tablets containing concentrated extracts.
  • St. John’s wort has an important action on the rectum: hæmorrhoids. coccydynia (tailbone pain).
  • St. John’s wort is useful for pelvic pain and cramping. According to the 1983 British Pharmacopoeia, St. John’s wort is specifically indicated for “menopausal neuroses”: Many women who experience anxiety, depression, and other emotional disturbances during menopause may benefit from this herb’s use.
  • St. John’s wort oil is used for bruises, is anti-inflammatory, and is often used by herbalists to help speed healing of wounds and sores.
  • St. John’s wort oil has antiphlogistic qualities, in other words, it helps to reduce inflammation.
  • Externally it is applied to bruises, sprains, burns, skin irritations, or any laceration accompanied by severed nerve tissue.

What the Science Says

There is some scientific evidence that St. John’s wort is useful for treating mild to moderate depression. Some researchers believe that St. John’s wort is a monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor, while others suspect that high concentrations of flavonoids contribute to its antidepressant activity. Extracts from St. John’s wort contain several active compounds, many of which have been shown to bind to the neuroreceptors in the brain.

Side Effects and Cautions

  • St. John’s wort may cause increased sensitivity to sunlight. (photosensitization)
  • Other side effects can include anxiety, dry mouth, dizziness, gastrointestinal symptoms, fatigue, headache, or sexual dysfunction.
  • Research shows that St. John’s wort interacts with some drugs. The herb affects the way the body processes or breaks down many drugs; in some cases, it may speed or slow a drug’s breakdown.
  • Drugs that can be affected include:
    o Antidepressants
    o Birth control pills
o Cyclosporine, which prevents the body from rejecting transplanted organs
o Digoxin, which strengthens heart muscle contractions
o Indinavir and possibly other drugs used to control HIV infection
o Irinotecan and possibly other drugs used to treat cancer
    o Warfarin and related anticoagulants
  • When combined with certain antidepressants, St. John’s wort may increase side effects such as nausea, anxiety, headache, and confusion.
  • Avoid foods that contain tyramine, alcoholic beverages, and medications such as tyrosine, narcotics, amphetamines, and over-the-counter cold and flu remedies while taking St. John’s wort.
  • People allergic to plants in the Hypericaceae family should avoid use of St. John’s wort.

Although these uses have been tested in humans or animals. Safety and effectiveness have not always been proven. Some of these conditions are potentially serious, and should be evaluated by a qualified healthcare provider.

Think about Red, Pelvic, sexual dysfunction

After reexamining the list “Side effects and Cautions” you will notice – like I did – that there is a LOT of items pointing to the Pelvic Region and the Reproductive System. I wonder if there is any relationship and if St. John’s wort has any influence on the Base Chakra or the Water Chakra as known in the Indian Knowledge base. Since red (hypericin) is the color of this chakra area. Investigate this notion!

Applied/Specialized Kinesiology: Isn’t a drudge!

Applied/Specialized Kinesiology isn’t a drudge

If Applied/Specialized Kinesiology were a drudge it would be no fun nor for me nor the client. In my sessions there is no repetition, no dull work. No room for drudge.

After a small-talk we start by installing ourself in the position that is most comfortable: laying on the back on the table. After which I begin my basic routine … but not for long! Soon your body-mind-spirit show me where you really want to work on. Your muscles show me while I muscle test! And I follow the instructions body-mind-spirit wants me to go. Mind you that can be totally different than where you came for. And jet the result seems to be the same. Yes, body-mind-spirit work in mysterious ways, don’t you think?

Applied/Specialized Kinesiology is hands on work

You and I know muscle testing is the pulsating heart of a kinesiological session. It is called kinesiological just because we use muscle testing as such. And as you also know kinesiology is directly related to the moving apparatus (i.e. in our case your body). The body as the measuring device, how direct can one be? In other words, it is our way of calibrating the system. It is different from testing for symptoms, it is more subtle and the information searched for is different, it is more like biofeedback from body-mind-spirit.

There are those who find it difficult to learn. I was one of them. Happily I’ve overcome my problems. Now, my challenge focuses on the ability to interpret the information given while I get the different readings. Be it actual/believe system/symbolic. I learn every time. And the client gets better and better. Isn’t that what we are working for? Yes, sometimes it takes time, a different approach to get the expected results. Don’t you think this is a challenge? I do!!

Applied/Specialized Kinesiology is balancing the energy system of the body

Ultimately it is the bodily energy system that needs the support: chakra, meridian, metabolic, auric. I use primarily bodywork (acupressure, micro body movement corrections, Reiki). Mind you I like NLP-like methods too. And the outcome is the way you feel: good, better, upper best. After all, “how you feel is the basis for your action” in the most positive way. Proof: Satisfied clients keep coming back … and they do come back!

Again … kinesiology is no drudge! kinesiology is a challenge. For you and me!!

SMART people in jeopardy

—————–

Why Are So Many SMART People Broke?

SMART GOALS:
S – specific, significant, stretching
M – measurable, meaningful, motivational
A – agreed upon, attainable, achievable, acceptable, action-oriented
R – realistic, relevant, reasonable, rewarding, results-oriented
T – time-based, timely, tangible, trackable

Scott Bolin speaks: Let’s get right to the heart of the matter: if someone is broke, it’s due to one, all, or a combination of these 5 areas:
1. Lack of Knowledge
2. Lack of Application of Knowledge
3. Lack of Adaptive Aggression
4. Subconscious Aversion or Reversal
5. Lack of Consistency

This applies not only to making money, but also to getting anything you want in life. Most folks who thoroughly study a body of knowledge – such as hypnosis, seduction, huna, nlp, etc, get lots of Knowledge and are genuinely smart people.” Extract from: Dr Yates J Canipe Newsletter, Straightforward Inc.

This information is a part of a sales letter to plug “MARTIAL MASTERY Secrets Revealed!” (13 DVDS) for a price of $1,497 (http://www.straightforwardinc.com/products/SF199.asp – in case you are interested). Mind you I don’t get a dime mentioning this. The goal of this article is to pounder on the list mentioned above.

Because, you know, I think this list has something to it. Namely is its applicable on many areas if not all of human thinking/acting.

Knowledge is one base of existence - We are humans and can think as supra-animal creatures. We act on what we know and everyday we learn new things. Knowledge and the crave for knowledge brought us into the 21th century the way we experience it to day. Knowledge is the mental notion of the structure of the problem at hand.

The right stimuli to use this Knowledge - It is not enough to crave for knowledge, to let knowledge come to you. In your mind’s Eye you need to see/feel the things you can do or not do with this knowledge. These are the experiences we base our applicability of this “new” knowledge.

Are you eager to use it enough – Then next there is the need for stimuli that produce enough power to make you want to make use of the newly found knowledge. Inviting you to play with it. Think of electrical stimulation to go, to spark, to ignite. To start the juices cumming and keep them cumming. You know what I mean. Energy flows where your attention goes. Focus!!

Subconscious Aversion or Reversal? - We humans are creatures of habits. Habits are synonymous to feeling of safe, feeling of known. Habits are of the realm of the subconscious, the place we go when we go on autopilot. Krishnamurti always pointed to the black records of old times where there was one groove on each side. The subconscious want to stay within the groove. If you counteract the Subconscious you find aversion or reversal. Just looking at it differently opens up possibilities, replacing these habits with new routines overcomes this problem as explained in the HUNA way of life: (THE SEVEN PRINCIPLES).

Enough mass to work on, to work with – There is this Ebook on “The World’s Best Compost” where there is mention of the need for colloid humus. Colloid humus is compost that has a consistency of butter. The goal is to keep all nutrients butter-like together, releasing the nutrients when needed. The image presented here is that knowledge needs to stay compact and coherent, such that application and approving of this knowledge is used in a self-learning routine. Ever maintaining the loop for learning more of the possibilities that are withheld in it.

So you see: Knowledge we recieve, needs to find the right soil (just like a seedling), enough nourishment to grow on, fight back on pests, keep on doing it every day. This does remind me of Peter Sellers’movie “Being there”, where he is a gardener and influences many people.
